On this page, you will find short descriptions of each program. As regulations change, we may reintroduce more of our previous programming. Our current programs are listed:
Every Saturday, we distribute food in Trenton, NJ. From 11 AM to noon, we distribute food and other essentials at True Love Ministries at 966 South Broad St, Trenton, NJ 08611. We also distribute food and other resources at the Rescue Mission. Follow us on our official Facebook page to receive important updates regarding our free food distribution program. If you would like to donate, or volunteer, please reach out to us via our Contact page.
Our initiative is the “Skills to Succeed” Work Program. This training program gives our youth a chance to take on a paid apprenticeship in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, welding, or home renovation. Students will undergo on-the-job training, build a personalized tool kit, and participate in life skills mentorship sessions. They will learn about fundamental tool operation, safety procedures, the importance of appropriate work attire, and more.
Life Skills Mentoring is one of the first programs that we launched. We started our mentoring session with less than ten students. Before COVID, we were working with over forty students. Since the pandemic, we have been working with students remotely. During these sessions, we get to the students. We help them to determine their goals for the future. From there, we help them achieve those goals however we can. Mentoring occurs in individual and group sessions.
